McCain’s Coming Endorsements
This is the closing round. I stated a very long time ago that if Romney and Giuliani let McCain survive to Super Tuesday, that would be his day.
There’s a story out about it, so I suppose I can go ahead and confirm it. It’s true. Senator John McCain will be rolling out endorsements over the next few days. These are convented endorsements that will end Romney’s chances of a comeback and surprisingly eat into Huckabee’s niche.
Senator Chambliss and Senator Isakson, both from Georgia, are confirmed by the Washington Post blog.
According to blog post popular Republican and Governor Sonny Predue, also from Georgia, Governor Bob Riley of Alabama and Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour are all on the “wish list.”
What the journalist and readers don’t know: these are all confirmed and coming.
Tomorrow will be California’s very own Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will endorse in the early morning. Stunning. McCain’s lead there will only widen thus working around the odd rules of California’s delegate divvying up rules, ensuring McCain secures the maximum number of delegates on Super Tuesday.
A win in Illinois, New York, Connecticut, California, and New Jersey are inevitable. Huckabee’s base will strongly be affected by these endorsements.
Oh, and heads up: more endorsements are coming up.
I hear we got a surprise in Tennessee on February 2nd, the same day Georgia’s big affair is scheduled.

Well this is really my worst nightmare. I cannot believe that McCain is pulling this off. Especially since he is not what the Republicans need right now.
I mean, look at the list of Romney endorsements —
Micheal Reagan, Mark Levin, Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Lars Larson, The National Review, Neil Bush, Hartford Courant, Ed Morrissey (CQ’s blog), The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Dr John Wilke (Chair Right to Life), Elizabeth Cheney, “The Hugh Hewitt Show”, The Oakland Press, The Oakland Press, Dennis Hastert, Ross Perot, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter (annoying), Mark Belling, Paul Weyrich (founder Heritage Foundation), Meg Whitman (CEO eBay), the Governors of MO, RI, and NE, 7+ incumbent senators (who DON’T like McCain a fellow Sen) and 38+ incumbent House members.
There are definitely more House Members, but there are so fricken many that I can’t even count them all.

You called it a long time ago…and I’m glad. Obviously not all the conservatives are, but I was rooting for him from the start. Let’s hope he makes it all the way to the White House now.
